REDDIT SECRET SANTA GIFT EXCHANGE PART 2
REDDIT SECRET SANTA GIFT EXCHANGE PART 2
After a weekend full of fun with friends it’s time to post the pics of what I got from and for the Reddit Secret Santa Gift Exchange! Yesterday I wrapped the gifts and the package is all taped up and ready to ship. I hope he likes his gifts!
What I received!
But first, let’s talk about what I got from my Secret Santa. This gift was truly special because they picked it out based on my love of two things: Game of Thrones and cheese. The gifter combined two of my loves along with my appreciation for handmade items from Etsy and got me this “Cheese is coming” Game of Thrones cutting board.
It was made by an Etsy shop called PNWCustomGifts. If you’re interested you can find them here. I took pics of my lovely present and posted them to the gift exchange gallery and thanked my secret Santa.
It’s funny that I received a cutting board because I just gifted one to my friend for her birthday. Check it out, it’s got a dinosaur on it! I’ve never gifted or been gifted a cutting board before so for both to happen on the same day was pretty amusing.
What I sent!
Now, on to what I got for my giftee. Shopping for my giftee was fun because we have a lot of similar interests and he seems like a nice guy from reading his preferences page. As a result, I think he’ll enjoy his gifts as much I enjoyed picking them out for him. He’s a fan of Bob’s Burgers (who isn’t?!) so I thought he might enjoy this Kuchi Kopi glow in the dark figure.
Not unlike myself, he’s also a fan of Doctor Who and had mentioned David Tennant is one of his favorite actors. What a coincidence, he’s my favorite Doctor! Since we have this in common I felt compelled to get him the Tenth Doctor Funko Pop!
My giftee also mentioned that he’s a fan of Ready Player One and that he really likes the character of Wade Watts/Parzival so I did a sketch for him and popped it in a frame.
So there you have it! My first time participating in the Reddit Secret Santa gift exchange. I’m glad I signed up, it was fun. I’ll definitely sign up for more exchanges in the future. Let me know if you do too!
