Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is revealed!

Today BioWare announced the name of the fourth game in the Dragon Age franchise; Dreadwolf. We knew that Solas aka Fen’Harel aka The Dread Wolf would feature heavily in the upcoming game but they’re making it clear today. BioWare have also stated that people don’t need to have played the previous games (Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 & Dragon Age: Inquisition) to enjoy DA: Dreadwolf. That means it’s a great time to hop on the bandwagon if you’re looking to sink your fangs into a rich role-playing game experience.

Speaking of a rich role-playing experience, check out these incredible cosplay costumes from Redditor u/catharsis83. They are stunning! The Grey Warden from Dragon Age: Origins and the Inquisitor (Inky!) from Dragon Age: Inquisition are looking ready to handle whatever Solas has planned. Just don’t let him hold your hand, Inky!

Thedasian Idol

No, there’s not going to be a reality show where the best singers in all of Thedas showcase their talents in the hopes of fame and fortune. Though I think we can all agree the tavern tunes in DA:I were catchy as hell! ‘Sera’ is my particular favorite.

I am, of course, referring to the idol made of red lyrium that idiot Bartrand found in the Valdasine thaig in Origins. He betrayed his own brother while under it’s spell and it drove him mad. Likewise, the same idol turned the chronically constipated Knight Captain Meredith into a statue in DA2. In short, it’s looking like the idol will play a part in the next chapter, but we’ll have to wait to find out how. If you read the books (nerd alert! It’s me, I’m the nerd) you know that Solas has the idol now. So that means we’ll probably have to wander through the fade in our underwear, reliving past traumas while desire demons pinch our bums to get it back from him. I can’t wait! –S.
